Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is one of those devices that tries to pack a lot into one package. Let us see if Samsung has managed to put together a phone that is actually worth your money. Announced in 2025, September 04, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
On the front you get a 6.7 inches, 110.2 cm 2 (~89.2% screen-to-body ratio) panel, pushing a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~385 ppi density). Colours look punchy and text stays clean, so you will not have much to complain about here. The build feels well put together, and Samsung has clearly paid attention to the in-hand feel. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Icyblue.
Performance & Software
At the heart of it sits the Exynos 2400 (4 nm), paired with 8GB of RAM. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs Android 15, upgradable to Android 17, up to 7 major OS updates, One UI 9 out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
Photography is handled by a main 50 MP shooter that should cover most situations, from daylight shots to the occasional low-light frame. Expect solid detail in good light, with the usual softness creeping in once the sun goes down.
Battery
Keeping the lights on is a 4900 mAh cell, and that is a healthy number that keeps range anxiety at bay.
Our Opinion
After spending time with the spec sheet and what Samsung is promising, here is where we land. This is a phone that does not try to be the flashiest option on the shelf, and honestly that works in its favour. It gets the basics right, offering strong battery life, a dependable main camera, a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. In day-to-day use it feels like the kind of device you can rely on, whether you are replying to messages, scrolling through social media, watching videos or taking the odd photo. You could nitpick a few things, as you can with any phone in this bracket. Even so, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE holds its own and represents a solid, no-nonsense buy.
