The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE is Samsung's latest attempt to grab your attention, and after going through the spec sheet, there is a fair bit here worth talking about. Announced in 2014, January. Released 2014, March, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
Up front there is a 12.2 inches, 431.6 cm 2 (~71.6% screen-to-body ratio) screen, pushing a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 16:10 ratio (~247 ppi density), which is more than sharp enough for everyday use, streaming and a bit of gaming. It is not trying to reinvent the wheel with its design, but it does look the part. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Black.
Performance & Software
Under the hood you will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (28 nm), paired with 3GB of RAM, which means smooth scrolling, quick app switching and no real hiccups in normal use. It runs Android 4.4 (KitKat), upgradable to 5.0.2 (Lollipop), TouchWiz UI out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
On the camera side, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE is led by a 8 MP main sensor. Point-and-shoot results are reliable, and that is exactly what most buyers want.
Battery

It gets the basics right, offering strong battery life, a dependable main camera, a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. For someone who simply wants a dependable daily driver that will not let them down halfway through the day, this ticks a lot of boxes. You could nitpick a few things, as you can with any phone in this bracket. Overall though, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE is easy to recommend to the right buyer.
