Realme is a brand which has caught the attention of most of the people in the smartphone market. This is because the company has already launched two smartphones in a span of 6 months. Also worth noting is the fact that both the smartphones have been tremendously successful. Now, Realme is not entirely a new company that has come into the limelight all of a sudden. Instead, Realme is a subsidiary brand of Oppo same as OnePlus and Honor. However, Realme is different in a way that it is competing at a lower price point in the market.
Recently, Realme launched the Realme 2 which is the next smartphone from Realme. This smartphone is also the successor to the Realme 1 in terms of naming. But, Realme CEO has clarified that Realme 2 is not an upgrade to the Realme 1. Rather, it is a budget variant of the Realme 1 with some compromises in specifications. Also, Realme CEO teased the launch of Realme 2 Pro during the launch of Realme 2.
Now, we have received more details about the Realme 2 Pro. Interestingly, these details are directly from the CEO of Realme, Madhav Seth. In a chat interview with the famous Youtuber Technical Guruji, Realme CEO revealed the Realme 2 Pro as well. Apart from that, Realme CEO also discussed the idea behind Realme, the company’s future plans, as well as questions regarding their software, were also discussed.
Obviously, the real attention from the video was regarding the Realme 2 Pro. Madhav Seth revealed that the Realme 2 PRo will have the Snapdragon 660 processor which is a clear upgrade from the Helio P60 of the Realme 1. Apart from that, the Realme 2 Pro will have a waterdrop notch same as the Oppo F9 Pro and Vivo V11 Pro. The device will also have a dual camera setup on the back and it will have a Diamond Blue colour variant too. Other details regarding the Realme 2 Pro will be available on September 27 which is when the Realme 2 Pro will get launched.
