Zuk Z2 Pro is the second smartphone from the brand Zuk. In some regions, it is also marketed as Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro. Though the company Zuk is not owned by Lenovo, they have some business relationship. Display

The display made of Super AMOLED. The screen size is 5.2 inches with full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The screen is the popular 2.5D arc glass made and also has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The clarity and sharpness of this display is fantastic because of the screen density of 424 pixels per inch.

CPU and GPU

The most popular and used CPU processor of the present time is used in Zuk Z2 Pro. That infamous processor chipset is Snapdragon 820 with Quad-core Kryo type. The clock speed is 2.15GHz which is the real performance enhancer. The GPU is Adreno 530. This is an already successful combination in many high-end smartphones in the market.

RAM and Storage

There are 2 options available for buyers to choose from based on the RAM and storage. First is the lower one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The second option is a massive 6GB of RAM and again a massive 128GB of inbuilt storage. There are no card slots found to expand the storage. So, the inbuilt storage is the final storage capacity.

Software

The software running on Zuk Z2 Pro is the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is running under the User Interface ZUI 2.0. ZUI 2.0 has settings to customize the hand gestures for many functions.

Camera

The rear camera has 13 MP CMOS sensors with dual LED flash and Digital and Optical Image Stabilization. The camera app has many settings in addition to this to adjust the results. The maximum video capturing quality is 2160 pixels at 30fps. The front camera has the decent 8 MP sensors with 1080 pixels video capturing.

Battery

A Non-removable 3100mAh battery is powering the device. This is a decent capacity but not great. There is quick charge feature available. It charges the 83% of battery in 30 minutes.

Other Features and Connectivity

Fingerprint sensors, USB type C, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTA and 4G LTE are available.

Price

The 6GB RAM version priced at Chinese Yuan 2699 / Indian Rs.27,600 / US $420 / 495 Euros. The price for 4GB RAM version is not yet announced.

Performance Expectation of Zuk Z2 Pro (Lenovo)

There is Snapdragon 820 processor chipset with the Adreno 530 GPU. The RAM space is massive with 6GB (or even 4GB). There is no doubt this device is high end and will perform beyond expectations. The battery of Android is always an issue for long time backup. But a 3100mAh battery is not bad and also there is quick charge feature added.

This is a great choice in the smartphone market now. While all the high-end devices are selling at an unreasonable price only because of the reason there is no high level of competition, Zuk Z2 Pro is an oasis. But, we are afraid there are rumors that this phone will be only available in China. So, if you got this smartphone with same specs sheet in your region, go for it.
