Sony Xperia E5 has a 5.0 inches screen with HD screen resolution i.e 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen pixel density is 294ppi which is not bad. The display is made of IPS capacitive touchscreen, which supports 4 fingers Multi touch. There is a scratch resistant glass cover over the screen for protection.

CPU of Sony Xperia E5 has MediaTek MT6735 Quad-core Processor with 1.3GHz clock speed which is of Cortex A-53 chipset. It is paired up with Mali T720MP2 GPU which is responsible for graphical support.

Quick Review of Sony Xperia E5
The display is just good with HD resolution. The scratch resistant glass protection is appreciable in mid-level devices. The MT6735 Quad-core processor is not so good in mid-level. It was once considered as good level of processor, but the CPU standard lifted much more in these days. GPU is acceptable level.
RAM below 2GB is not a mid-level. So, the 1.5GB is still considered as a low level. The performance of multitasking is good only at minimum 2GB of RAM. Camera is just ok with standard features. Battery has good capacity to handle the hardware components of this phone. We can expect one day battery backup for casual use.
Bottom Line is, Sony Xperia E5 failed to be a mid-level because of the outdated CPU processor and lesser amount of RAM.

Opinion to Buyers – Sony Xperia E5
First of all, this is not a satisfactory mid-level smartphone in terms of specs of Hardware and RAM. Secondly, the price is not convincible for a mid-level smartphone at present. Xiaomi, Asus, Huawei, Lenovo brands have smartphones with good specs for the same price of Sony Xperia E5 or having same specs with lesser price.
