Panasonic Eluga C smartphone launched in Taiwan with a price tag of TWD 6,000 (approximately Rs. 12,900). Following the footsteps of the recent bezel-less smartphones, Panasonic also stepped into the section. The dual cameras also seem to be something interesting on a Panasonic device. So, for those who eagerly waiting for a Panasonic device with a much more advanced technology, the Eluga C might be a good choice.
The smartphone is coming with a 5.5-inch display which sadly limited to 720×1280 pixels. We were expecting a much better resolution on a bezel-less device. However, at least for now, the display doesn’t seem that bad and outputs good quality visuals. Nevertheless to mention that the Eluga C will not be supporting 18:9 aspect ratio like we have seen in many recent flagships. So, if the display is your primary concern, it might need a second thought when going for this Panasonic product.
Under the hood, an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC clocked at 1.5GHz supports the performance alongside a 4GB RAM. That was some good specs for a 12K range smartphone. Even though the device disappointed in the display department, the hardware is pleasing for the price range. A 64GB internal storage can be expanded upto 256GB using microSD card. The device is fueled by a 3000mAh powerful, yet average battery.
In the camera department, there is a dual camera on the back which are 13-megapixels and a 5-megapixels respectively. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera to power the selfies. All three of them have the f/2.2 lenses on top. The camera quality also seems to be nice and efficiently captures all the details that we need. In low-lighting conditions too, the camera performs pretty well. So, it’s bearable for the price range.
So, in the coming days, we can expect this Panasonic smartphone in more countries and maybe with more variants (which may not happen.) The Panasonic fanboys in Taiwan can now march into the stores and grab some of their favorite devices.
