Realme has officially announced the Realme 2 Pro, latest smartphone from Realme in India. Realme is a subsidiary company of Oppo and the company started operations with the launch of Realme 1 in India.
Now, the launch of the next smartphone from Realme was already anticipated from last month. This is because Realme launched the Realme 2 at an event exactly a month ago. In the same event, Realme CEO Madhav Seth teased the launch of a device with the “2, P, r, o” initials in its name.
This basically confirmed the launch of Realme 2 Pro and the now we have the smartphone officially announced as well. Talking about the Realme 2 Pro, we have a very unique display on the device. This is termed by Realme as the “Dewdrop Notch” display.
Basically, there is a tiny notch in the middle of the smartphone’s display which houses the front camera only. This type of notch is seen on the recent Oppo and Vivo smartphones launched in India.
Other than that, the Realme 2 Pro will also have three variants of RAM and ROM. In terms of RAM, the Realme 2 Pro has a maximum of 8GB of RAM whereas the ROM capacity of the device maxes out at 128GB. Apart from that, Realme 2 Pro also has a 4/64GB variant and a 6/64GB RAM/ROM variant too.
In terms of processing power, the Realme 2 Pro has a Snapdragon 660 processor inside it which is very powerful for a mid-range device. Also, the Snapdragon 660 is an AI-based processor so Realme 2 Pro also has AI capabilities. Realme also mentioned that Realme 2 Pro is optimized for gaming.
Coming to the pricing, Realme 2 Pro starts at 13,990 for the base variant which has 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The top variant of the Realme 2 Pro which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs Rs. 17,990 in India. Also, Realme 2 Pro will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India.
