Display
Moto M features IPS LCD display type with a screen size of 5.5-inches and full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution.
CPU and GPU
Moto M is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 Octa-core processor chipset with 1.8GHz clock speed. In India, Moto M will have Helio P15 Octa-core processor chipset with 2.2GHz clock speed. The GPU paired with the MediaTek chip is Mali T860 MP2.
RAM and Storage
There are two Moto M variants available based on the RAM and storage capacity. The lower variant has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while the higher variant has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The memory expansion is available up to 256GB via microSD card using the SIM slot 2.
Software
Moto M runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as the OS.
Camera
Moto M sports a 16MP sensor with PDAF, LED flash and 1 micron pixel size in the rear. The front camera is featured with an 8MP sensor and 1.12 micron pixel size.
Battery
A 3050mAh non-removable battery powering up Moto M. The fast charging feature is available to charge the battery quicker than usual.
Other Features and Connectivity
GPRS, Edge, 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, OTG and USB Type C are available in Moto M. The special features available in Moto M are the rear mounted fingerprint scanner and Dolby Atmos audio enhancement.

Motorola Moto M Opinion
If the CPU of Moto M is Snapdragon 820 or 821, then it would be perfect. Helio P10 is a good performer but not the best. Considering the overall specs of Moto M, it’s a good choice for a mid-level smartphone. The price is also reasonable and gives value for money.
