LG is gearing up to launch flagship LG V30. The latest render leaked out on the web reveals the secondary slide out display. According to reports, LG V30 will launch in September 2017. If you think that you can buy LG V30 for a cheap price, you are wrong. The handset will most likely compete with Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
If you look at the Samsung Galaxy S8 series, you will find the bezel-less display. LG is also working to integrate new features and capabilities. You need not have to surprise if you find the bezel-less display on LG V30 because it is already present in Mi Mix, LG G6, and Galaxy S8. If the leaked renders are to be believed, the upcoming LG V30 will ship with a secondary slide out display. Hence, in addition to a possible bezel-less display, you also have a secondary display.
The leaked images reveal a primary display alongside a secondary screen. The upper portion comprises of the primary display. If you slide, you wll be able to view the secondary display below the screen.
There are reports that LG V30 will be compatible with Google Daydream VR platform. The big highlight of LG V30 is the integration of Android O platform. Hence, you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the upcoming Android platform.
Apparently, the secondary display will be small, where you can view specific information. There are reports that the secondary display will ship with an OLED display and will be capable of providing enhanced features, functions and shortcuts.
You can make use of the secondary display as a keyboard, clipboard, navigation controls including search results fetched via Google, Bing and much more. Moreover, it will also display the time and weather related information and functions identical to that of always on display.
That said, you should accept the fact only with a pinch of salt since there is no official confirmation. As of this writing, we don’t have any idea as to whether LG will infuse a secondary slideout display.
