LeEco suddenly released three new smartphones, Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 in China last week. They tried some unique touch from their end. One of the main unique they bring is no port for 3.5mm headphone jack. They ditched the traditional 3.5mm jack to make the USB type ‘C’ port additionally to connect with the headphones. Specs, Details and Opinion of LeEco Le 2 and Le 2 Pro
Le 2 and Le 2 Pro both has 5.5 inch LCD screen with resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. The screen density is stunning with a 401 pixels per inch. The full HD resolution is perfect for a 5.5 inch screen, since it brings high class clarity to the display.
Next is the CPU, where we seeing Helio X 20 processor chipset with 2.3GHz clock speed in the Le 2 and Helio X 25 processor chipset with 2.5GHz clock speed in the Le 2 Pro. The CPU is assisted with a Mali T880MP4 graphical processor.
There is a 3GB of RAM in Le 2 and 4GB of RAM in Le 2 Pro. The primary camera in the Le 2 is a 16MP one while the Le 2 Pro has a 21MP camera. These two are the main differentiation between the two devices. The front camera is same in both the devices which is an 8 MP camera sensor.
The internal storage is 32GB on both and there is no card slot to add extra storage. The smartphones are powered with a 3000mAh battery. This battery is of decent level. But, Le 1 which is the past version of Le 2, has some heating issue. There is no news about the battery of Le 2 since it released just a few days back. So, the buyers may look for some expert opinions and reviews on this matter.
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS is the one running in Le 2 and Le 2 Pro, with the topping of eUI (User Interface). As we mentioned above, there is no 3.5mm Audio jack which is very common among the smartphones. The price of Le 2 is 1099 Yuan (~$170) and the price of Le 2 Pro is 1499 Yuan and (~230). Looking at the Chinese market price, these smartphones are really cheap. For the ten cores processors and 3GB or 4GB of RAM, this price is comparatively lower. But, the buyers must thing about the missing 3.5mm audio jack.
