Display

HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle has a 5.2 inch screen with stunning 1440 X 2560 pixels. The screen density is almost on top of all smartphones with 565 pixels per inch. The screen display clarity and sharpness would be great at this highly rated density. The display is made of Super LCD5 Touchscreen. On top of all, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection given for the screen.

CPU and GPU

Here we found variations in the specs between the two devices. HTC 10 carries a Snapdragon 820 Quad-core Kryo processors. The maximum clock speed is 2.15GHz in HTC 10. It is supported by the Adreno 530 GPU.

In the relatively lower HTC 10 Lifestyle, Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor (not a Kryo type) with maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz coupled with the Adreno 510 GPU.

RAM and Storage

HTC 10 has a 4GB RAM and also got 32GB / 64GB variant in the inbuilt storage. HTC 10 Lifestyle has a 3GB RAM and only a 32GB inbuilt storage. Both the devices, have micro SD card slot which can be used to add more 200GB storage.

Software

Both HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle has Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the latest Android software. HTC has their own UI namely, HTC Sense UI. This is the UI skinned over the Marshmallow in this smartphones.

Camera

Both the devices sports the same primary and secondary camera. The primary camera in the rear side has 12MP sensors with f/1.8 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, Laser Autofocus and dual-LED flash. The video capturing can be done at 2160p at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps. Without any doubt, this is a featured camera made special.

Both the devices powered by the same 3000mAh battery. We can expect a one day backup for a regular usage. Like many new smartphones, this battery is non-removable. The Quick charge 3.0 feature can fill the 50% of battery in 30 minutes of time.

We are not sure about the exact price of these smartphones. But as per the News, HTC 10 would be priced around at $800 and the HTC 10 Lifestyle would be priced around at $600.

Performance Expectation of HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle

First of all, the HTC 10 has a powerful CPU, GPU and RAM. There is no doubt this configuration play well in all arena of multi-tasking with the latest Android Software installed. Camera is a special made in the rear with OIS technology. The battery is above average and comparatively good at this price range. We expect a high-end performance from HTC 10.

Looking at the HTC 10 Lifestyle, it has a Snapdragon 652 CPU processor and related GPU. 3GB RAM is also satisfying level. Android OS, Camera, Battery and many specs are same as HTC 10, except the important CPU and RAM. As the CPU is low configured than HTC 10, it could be lower in performance than HTC 10. But at the same time for the price, this brings a lot of value.

Without any doubt, both the devices are high-end devices. But, HTC 10 Lifestyle is one step lower than the HTC 10. And also available only in specific regions. Our final opinion is, those who bored or not satisfied with the high-end brands like Samsung or Apple, they can try this out.
