OnePlus has added another interesting option to its lineup with the all-new OnePlus N6, and on paper it looks like a device that wants to be your daily driver. Announced in 2026, June 30, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
Up front there is a 6.8 inches, 113.0 cm 2 (~86.8% screen-to-body ratio) screen, pushing a resolution of 720 x 1570 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~254 ppi density). Colours look punchy and text stays clean, so you will not have much to complain about here. It is not trying to reinvent the wheel with its design, but it does look the part. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Fresh Mint.
Performance & Software
At the heart of it sits the Mediatek Dimensity 6360 Apex (6 nm), paired with 4GB of RAM. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs Android 16, OxygenOS 16, up to 2 major OS updates out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
Photography is handled by a main 50 MP shooter that should cover most situations, from daylight shots to the occasional low-light frame. It is not a pro camera rig, but for everyday memories it gets the job done nicely.
Battery
Battery duties are handled by a 8000 mAh unit. With moderate use you can expect to end the day with charge to spare.
Our Opinion
After spending time with the spec sheet and what OnePlus is promising, here is where we land. This is a phone that does not try to be the flashiest option on the shelf, and honestly that works in its favour. It gets the basics right, offering strong battery life, a dependable main camera, a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. If your priority is a phone that just works, day in and day out, then this one deserves a spot on your shortlist. There are rivals that beat it in one area or another, as is always the case in this segment. Even so, the OnePlus N6 holds its own and represents a solid, no-nonsense buy.
