Honor has added another interesting option to its lineup with the all-new Honor X9e Pro, and on paper it looks like a device that wants to be your daily driver. Announced in 2026, September 24, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
On the front you get a 6.8 inches, 113.1 cm 2 (~90.6% screen-to-body ratio) panel, pushing a resolution of 1280 x 2788 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~451 ppi density), which is more than sharp enough for everyday use, streaming and a bit of gaming. It is not trying to reinvent the wheel with its design, but it does look the part. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Dawn Gold.
Performance & Software
Under the hood you will find the Qualcomm SM6850 Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 (4 nm), paired with 8GB of RAM. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs Android 16, MagicOS 10 out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
Photography is handled by a main 108 MP shooter that should cover most situations, from daylight shots to the occasional low-light frame. Point-and-shoot results are reliable, and that is exactly what most buyers want.
Battery
There is a Si/C Li-Po 11000 mAh battery inside, and that is a healthy number that keeps range anxiety at bay.
Our Opinion
So, what do we actually make of the Honor X9e Pro? This is a phone that does not try to be the flashiest option on the shelf, and honestly that works in its favour. It gets the basics right, offering strong battery life, a dependable main camera, a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. If your priority is a phone that just works, day in and day out, then this one deserves a spot on your shortlist. Is it perfect? No phone is, and you will always find a sharper camera or a faster chip somewhere else for a little more money. Even so, the Honor X9e Pro holds its own and represents a solid, no-nonsense buy.
