Apple has added another interesting option to its lineup with the all-new Apple Watch Series 11, and on paper it looks like a device that wants to be your daily driver. Announced in 2025, September 09, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
On the front you get a 1.96 inches panel, pushing a resolution of 496 x 416 pixels (~326 ppi density), which is more than sharp enough for everyday use, streaming and a bit of gaming. The build feels well put together, and Apple has clearly paid attention to the in-hand feel. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Slate.
Performance & Software
At the heart of it sits the Apple S10. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs watchOS 26, upgradable to watchOS 27 out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
Photography is handled by a main shooter that should cover most situations, from daylight shots to the occasional low-light frame. Expect solid detail in good light, with the usual softness creeping in once the sun goes down.
Battery
There is a Li-Ion battery inside, which should comfortably see most people through a full day on a single charge.
Our Opinion
So, what do we actually make of the Apple Watch Series 11? Apple has clearly gone for substance over gimmicks here, and we respect that approach. It gets the basics right, offering a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. If your priority is a phone that just works, day in and day out, then this one deserves a spot on your shortlist. There are rivals that beat it in one area or another, as is always the case in this segment. But taken as a whole, the Apple Watch Series 11 is a sensible, well-judged choice that should keep most users happy for a good while.
