The Apple Watch Series 10 is Apple's latest attempt to grab your attention, and after going through the spec sheet, there is a fair bit here worth talking about. Announced in 2024, September 09, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
The Apple Watch Series 10 comes with a 1.96 inches display, pushing a resolution of 496 x 416 pixels (~330 ppi density), and in real-world use it looks bright, crisp and easy on the eyes. In terms of design, the Apple Watch Series 10 keeps things modern and comfortable to hold. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Slate.
Performance & Software
Powering the Apple Watch Series 10 is the Apple S10. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs watchOS 11, upgradable to watchOS 27 out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
Photography is handled by a main shooter that should cover most situations, from daylight shots to the occasional low-light frame. It is not a pro camera rig, but for everyday memories it gets the job done nicely.
Battery
There is a Li-Ion 327 mAh battery inside, which should comfortably see most people through a full day on a single charge.
Our Opinion
After spending time with the spec sheet and what Apple is promising, here is where we land. Apple has clearly gone for substance over gimmicks here, and we respect that approach. It gets the basics right, offering a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. If your priority is a phone that just works, day in and day out, then this one deserves a spot on your shortlist. There are rivals that beat it in one area or another, as is always the case in this segment. Overall though, the Apple Watch Series 10 is easy to recommend to the right buyer.
