Apple has added another interesting option to its lineup with the all-new Apple iPhone 15 Pro, and on paper it looks like a device that wants to be your daily driver. Announced in 2023, September 12, it arrives at a time when the competition is as tight as ever.
Design & Display
On the front you get a 6.1 inches, 91.3 cm 2 (~88.2% screen-to-body ratio) panel, pushing a resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~461 ppi density). Colours look punchy and text stays clean, so you will not have much to complain about here. The build feels well put together, and Apple has clearly paid attention to the in-hand feel. You can pick it up in a few finishes, including Black Titanium.
Performance & Software
Powering the Apple iPhone 15 Pro is the Apple A17 Pro (3 nm), paired with 8GB of RAM. That combination should handle day-to-day multitasking and most games without breaking a sweat. It runs iOS 17, upgradable to iOS 27 out of the box, so the software experience feels current.
Camera
On the camera side, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro is led by a 48 MP main sensor (48 MP, f/1.8, 24mm (wide), 1/1.28", 1.22µm, dual pixel PDAF, sensor-shift OIS 12 MP, f/2.8…). It is not a pro camera rig, but for everyday memories it gets the job done nicely.
Battery
Keeping the lights on is a Li-Ion 3274 mAh cell, and that is a healthy number that keeps range anxiety at bay.

After spending time with the spec sheet and what Apple is promising, here is where we land. What you are getting is a device that quietly covers the fundamentals rather than shouting about them. It gets the basics right, offering a dependable main camera, a crisp display, which is exactly what most buyers are really after. In day-to-day use it feels like the kind of device you can rely on, whether you are replying to messages, scrolling through social media, watching videos or taking the odd photo. You could nitpick a few things, as you can with any phone in this bracket. Even so, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro holds its own and represents a solid, no-nonsense buy.
