Bluboo Maya and Homtom HT17 are the two new smartphones in the market selling in the same price range of around $70-80 in various online shops. Both of them also has many comparable specs.
Bluboo Maya and Homtom HT17, both has 5.5 inches display with HD resolution, 3000mAh capacity battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Bluboo Maya has MT6580 Quad-core processor and Homtom HT17 has MT6737 Quad-core processor. Bluboo Maya has 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera while Homtom HT17 has 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Bluboo Maya has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Homtom HT17 has 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
Coming to the hardware performance, Bluboo Maya works faster in the touchscreen, working of apps and games. Homtom HT17 slower and lagging sometimes due to the less amount of RAM.
In camera performance, the specs itself exposed the image quality of both smartphones. Bluboo Maya has good cameras in rear and front and hence it also produces good picture by quality. Homtom HT17 has below average cameras and the result is also same.
Both the smartphones have same display specs, but Bluboo Maya has good quality and clarity in the display. This is due to the enhanced color saturation of Bluboo Maya. Not only that, the IP63 water and dust proof, 2.5D curved glass display further protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 are the additional features that makes the display better.
Finally, the battery performance is same in both. They carries same 3000mAh battery. But, Bluboo Maya has Lithium-Polymer battery and Homtom HT17 has Lithium-Ion battery. There is no much difference between two of them in performance. But the Lithium Polymer has a few advantage and also costlier than the Lithium-Ion.
