Quick Review of Asus Zenfone Go ZB551KL
A Display with HD resolution and 5.5 inches screen is not a good idea while full HD displays are available in the market for cheaper price these days. But, we must appreciate the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in this mid-range device. As a unique design, in the rear there is a button to control the volume, camera clicks etc.
The CPU processor chip Snapdragon 400 with Cortex-A7 type processors very old and less powerful comparing the recent technology. Again the same with Android 5.1 OS, while Android Marshmallow is everywhere. The 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of storage is decent performing components.
Rear camera (13MP) is above average, but not the front one which is only a 5MP. But this cameras got some features such as face beautify, Autofocus etc. A battery of 3010mAh which is also a removable type, is great capacity.
Bottom line – Except Processor remaining stays midrange of good value as promised. The processors are very old, almost a 2-3 years old technology. Android 5.1 OS and 720 pixels resolution are just Okay.
