Xiaomi Mi Mix launched on 2016, October. It is expected to be available in the market from 2016, November.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Review

Display

IPS LCD Display with the screen size of 6.4-inch. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2040 pixels.

This is an edgeless display and so it has a lot of expectations. The body is made of ceramic. The screen resolution is 2K with a high standard pixel density.

CPU and GPU

CPU – Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-core (Kryo) processor with the clock speed of 2.35GHz.

GPU – Adreno 530

Both the CPU and GPU of Xiaomi Mi Mix are high end. We can expect maximum processing performance of a smartphone in Mi Mix.

RAM and Storage

Xiaomi Mi Mix has two variants –

4GB RAM and 128GB Internal storage
6GB RAM and 256GB Internal storage

Micro SD card slot is missing.

As the minimum RAM is 4GB, there is no worry about multitasking. The internal storage is also spacious to keep lot of media content. So, the missing card slot is not a big thing to worry.

Software

MIUI 8 user interface over the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS

MIUI is a reliable android user interface. We can expect the update for new Android 7.1 Nougat soon.

Camera

Rear Camera – 16MP sensors, aperture f/2.0, Phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, and EIS (Gyro).

Front Camera – 5MP sensors

Video Resolution – 2160p@ 30fps, 1080p@ 30fps, 720p@ 120fps.

The rear camera is fantastic with the features it carries. The front camera is not impressive.

Battery

A non-removable 4400mAh Li-Ion Battery.

Fast Battery Charging (with Quick charge 3.0) – 83% in 30 minutes.

Battery capacity is enough to power up the device for more than one day on casual use.

Xiaomi Mi Mix – Phone opinion

Xiaomi Mi Mix is a high end smartphone. Definitely, this is a good alternate choice for Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 7 Plus. The main thing is the awesome design that attracts everyone. The price is little bit high, but it is worth for the design and the ceramic build.
