Specs and Details of ZTE Blade V7 Max
Display
ZTE Blade V7 Max has a 5.5 inches screen with full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display type is AMOLED in a 2.5D arc curved glass. The screen density is 400 pixels per inch. This brings high clarity and sharply detailed display.
CPU and GPU
Like many of the present day mid-range smartphones, ZTE Blade V7 Max also has the MediaTek’s Helio P10 Octa-core processor. It can be clocked to the maximum of 1.8GHz. The graphical processor chipset in this phone is Mali T-760, which is above average combination for this CPU. We saw Mali T-860 as the companion for Helip P10 in the recent smartphones. So, by competitive analysis, this GPU is less in performance.
RAM and Storage
There are two variants based on RAM. It is 3GB and 4GB. It looks like 4GB version will be less in number for sales. The inbuilt storage has only one choice that is, 32GB. The storage can be expandable using the micro SD card up to 128GB.
Software
ZTE Blade V7 Max runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow over the User Interface MiFavour 3.5. This is advantageous as some mid-range smartphones still launching with Android 5.1 version.
Camera
The rear side has a 16 MP camera with dual tone LED flash. The front side has an 8 MP shooter. The numbers such as 16 MP and 8 MP is promising for this range.
Battery
The smartphone powered by a 3000mAh battery with quick charge feature. The battery level is also decent to give longtime backup for the phone.
Other Features and Connectivity
The fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, 4G LTE, USB OTG and dual SIM slots are available. There is no Infrared and NFC in this phone. The company in its marketing campaign said that this device has DTS audio to bring the best audio experience. The industry standard USB type C is included as the USB port in ZTE Blade V7 Max.
Price
The price of the 3GB variant is Chinese Yuan 1800 / Indian Rs. 18,500 / US $ 280. The price of 4GB variant is Chinese Yuan 2000 / Indian Rs.20,500 / US $310. The above price is approximate price based on the Chinese release. It may vary based on regional taxes in each country.
Performance Expectation of ZTE Blade V7 Max
The Helio P10 is a great CPU in the smartphone arena. It is also known for better battery management. But, the concern is about GPU, which is little less for this CPU in comparative to other smartphones having the same Helio P10 processor. The 3GB RAM is a good option. I don’t think there is a need for 4GB RAM for this configuration. Overall, we can expect good multitasking and gaming experience in this phone.
Pros and Cons of ZTE Blade V7 Max
Pros
- 5 inches screen with full HD resolution
- Powerful Helio P10 processor
- 3GB or 4GB of RAM, which is more than enough

Opinion to Buyers – ZTE Blade V7 Max
The specs sheet is impressive, and price also looks reasonable at first sight. But at the same time, we feel some flaws like no protection to the screen, GPU, which is a low match for the CPU, etc. We suggest to those who are planning on this phone to wait until some detailed expert review comes out. Also, keep looking for user reviews.
